I finally sold the worst stroller in the world.
It was big, it tore my trunk up, and it was impossible to drive.

We went looking at double jogging strollers right after we sold it and we can't get one til tomorrow because no one at the store was willing to put it together today. So now I feel naked.

In other news, the babies wont stop sticking their tongues out! Where did they learn that from?! Their father of course!!

I must go and put this tired cranky baby to bed!

Do you know how hard it is shopping for two babies at Walmart? Harder then you think! I went to two different Walmarts last night looking for umbrella strollers since a huge double-stroller is completely impractical when you're trying to get it in and out of a small trunk and they didn't have ANY girl strollers. When I asked a lady that worked there if they had anymore or any in the back and she just stared at me and said, " Well, I really couldn't tell you." and she said it more then once. So we agreed to just get a boy stroller now and go out tomorrow for a girl stroller at yet another Walmart.

But Ethan sure does look cute in his stroller!

But I'm not sure who is the cutest!

This is my Grandfathers favorite chair, you can kinda of tell it was his favorite, but this picture is very special to me because the twins will never know him as a person, but maybe know him in different ways that are just as special.

His toes are "black?" because of all the Valentines day cards we have been making! I think it's kinda cute that their way of "signing" a card is their little foot print!

Lazy days

Since my Grandmother is in the hospital we have been staying at her house keeping an eye on the place. It's been a few lazy days where I've just been stuffing my face of all her sweet food.

Summer pictures in winter?

Is it just me or does facebook ruin the quality of your photos?
I hate posting photos on facebook because they never look like they do on here or on my computer.
Today was hot, I can't believe it's winter and I'm sweating.
I'm not sure if it's just a Florida thing or if it seems warmer everywhere else. I sure don't want to stick around to see how hot summer is going to be this year!

Took the babies to the springs today, it's just such a shame you can't swim here. It's so beautiful and not too deep like every other spring in Florida. I guess this state is just too cheap to test the water for swimming.

I wish I wasn't so tired from not sleeping last night, but I decided to go out all day instead of squeezing in a nap. I didn't get a "perfect spot" to take pictures of a friends babybump, but I like most of the photos so far. Hopefully we can go out and take some more before that little one decides to pop!

Can you believe it was like 80 degrees today?! In the middle of January. At least it made a beautiful day for the twins.

This boy has the biggest feet, we had to go and get him size two shoes today. It always makes me sad when they grow out of things.

I made the mistake of not trying them on in the store, and when we got home, I've found they fit perfectly, a little too perfect. Too perfect that when I put them on him, his foot fills the shoe and he has no room to grow! So I guess it won't be long before we are back at the store getting more.

This girl LOVES her sweet peas, at least that makes one of us. I can't stand to change their poopy diapers after sweet peas. Today in ross, I had them on a shopping cart and some random person was next to me and Emily let out the biggest, longest poot I ever heard. We shared a very awkward moment of silence and I walked away.

I can't believe it has been five months! I feel like when you have kids, the time just flies by and I just want to get rid of all the clocks and calenders. I remember when I bought the "preemie" clothes everyone was like

" well I don't think you're going to need those"and it turned out they were so small, newborn clothes swallowed them up. Can you believe they can still fit into newborn clothes? Can you believe they just moved into 0-3?

Sometimes I wish they were back in my belly. I miss the kicks and the hiccups. The cute little flutters and watching my belly roll from side to side. If there is one thing I could tell every pregnant woman who is complaining about being pregnant, I would tell them to enjoy it, because you're going to miss it.

And now you're out and I can't even think about life before you.

I couldn't imagine what my life would be like without you.

I love you forever and a day. <3

The twin's first beach day!

Hello Florida, thank you for making it a perfect day to take the babies to the beach! Please, stay like this for a little while? Doubt it, I heard there's a "cold front" coming in next week but it was good while it lasted.

The babies love it, people loved seeing the babies there and I loved seeing the babies so happy. I just can't wait until they are old enough to really enjoy the beach.

While Ethan was just happy with everything.

And just when I think they are being cute and I'm standing there trying to snap tons of adorable pictures of Emily trying to hold Ethan's hand, he goes and pulls a fast one on me.

But over all, it was another beautiful day.

Took Zoeey to the dog park again but this time let her out on the big dog side and almost had it handed to her by a Pomeranian.

This is what he does, he sleeps all day so he can be up all night. Somethings gotta change! I know the doctor said they are still a little too young to have a good sleeping scheduled but I really hope he grows out of it soon! I get really tired when I want him to go to sleep, but as soon as he is asleep BOOM, I'm wide awake in bed so I guess he's not the only one who needs help sleeping.

I feel like we hardly did anything today besides wake up late for our wic appointment. I'm thinking about just getting off of WIC after the first year because all we really need is the formula but after one year, they start messing with your babies and I really want nothing to do with the health department when it comes to them actually touching the babies. They have proven to me they really don't know what they are doing. I could go on a rant but I would rather just save you a long reading and just say I cried when I left the health department once because of an ignorant woman who hardly knew English and made me feel like crap.

I get so mad when I think about it.

Since Florida doesn't participate in winter activities, it's going to be around 80 degrees this weekend! Perfect beach weather!

And the babies are all ready for it! Too bad Ethan was fast asleep so I couldn't post his adorable outfit. =/

Probably all sacked out from taking Zoeey to the dog park! I was afraid to take her but on the other hand I thought it would be okay to put her in the big dog side because of how hyper she can be. Hyper at 10 years old that is. But I let her go on the small dog side and she was really well mannered.

Emily is being the biggest cranky butt tonight. It's almost 11 and she still won't go down. If someone lays her down, here she comes with the screaming. I have a feeling she's over tired to the point she doesn't want to go to sleep. But I get like that and you don't see me crying! Good thing we have Daddy to come and save the day!

It's my mothers birthday! So of course I went off my diet for birthday cake. I'm not regretting it, yet.

I got my mother a calender from shutterfly with the babies pictures and my dad got her a digital photo frame and I put all the babies photos on there. I think it's safe to say she had a wonderful, baby filled birthday!

Cause you can never have too much baby so here is your daily dose.

Since I forgot to post yesterday, I feel like I owe you a little bit more!
Yesterday we took the kids to the park at the springs for some test pictures. I'm trying to figure out something to do for Valentines day pictures. I don't think I will ever go back to JCPennys for pictures. I took the twins there when they were about 2 weeks old for their "first" pictures and the lady taking the pictures was horrible. I'm sure I could do a better job with a disposable camera. It really was a waste of money.
Anyways...

I have this big red bucket with hearts on it that I really want to use, but I'm not too sure how I want to use it yet or where for that matter. I guess i have plenty of time!

Emily is telling me that's all the time I have for today seeing how see keeps trying to type for me and keeps trying to slide out of my lap. She's not happy when I cut into her "look at me I'm a baby" time.

It's three am! Why are you not asleep! This kid just doesn't want to go down for the night! Emily is sound asleep but every time I go to put Ethan down and gets this big frown and just screams. But when I put him in his car it's all laugh and giggles. When the doctor said you can't spoil a child, I think it's because she never met one like mine.

When the babies were really little and we would go to the store, people would stop us to look at them all the time, well they still do but I remember when some lady was shopping with her kids and they kept asking her questions, they were about 3 or 4 and she was being really mean to her kids and looked at me and said, " just wait til they get this age, you won't know what hit you." All I could do is look at her and say " no because I will actually enjoy my kids." I hear it more and more now, if you don't enjoy your kids, why did you have them? If you're not ready for kids, don't have sex, problem solved. I really feel bad for the kids who have mothers like that.

What happened to the joy of motherhood? What happened to the unconditional love? What world are we living in that makes people think it's okay to treat their kids like they are a bother?

My poor little baby girl has a fever from her booster shots yesterday! It's so weird that this morning she seemed fine but then all of the sudden, she started to get warm and cranky. It's hard to see your child in any kind of pain or being sick.

But this morning, the babies started on babyfood! Apples!

And Ethan grew a mustache over lunch.

The story of TWO.

Without a doubt, I can say I have this memory burned into my mind forever. I remember laying there, waiting for someone to cry and hearing nothing. I remember not being able to feel pain below my waist, but feeling my heart stop like it was weighted down by rocks. Then, it happened, little tiny screams filled the room and my heart took a beat and I could breathe again. I look up to see this tiny little head peek from the other side of the curtain, my little girl was born!

But then the panic was back on waiting for my little boy to make his way into the world. I waited for what seemed like a lifetime, but fifty-four seconds later, I heard another tiny little scream and another little face peek over the curtain. (When Ethan was born, he grabbed on to the doctors sutures.) They were tiny, but healthy and full term. Nothing can ever compare to the moment both babies were put into my arms, my little family finally came together.

At their doctors appointment today, I learned the babies have gained around ten pounds since birth and are as healthy as can be. I remember how much I worried while I was pregnant about all the things that could go wrong and was even too afraid to take Tylenol! If you're pregnant or have ever been pregnant, you know how it feels right before a doctors appointment to hear the heartbeat or a sonogram and wonder what you would do if they couldn't find a heartbeat. I was so afraid before each sonogram, scared to death waiting to see two little flickers on the screen.

Emily just 5.13 pounds and Ethan 6.1 pounds.

They were so tiny! It's bittersweet knowing they are getting so big, I'm sad because I know they are going to just keep getting older, but happy because I know they are alive and well.

As of today
Emily is fifteen pounds!

And Ethan is fourteen.five pounds!

I will never forget how lucky this family has been. I am forever thankful for two healthy babies and a wonderful man who loves me and these babies and does everything he can for us.

People always ask us if we are going to have more or they say " you have a boy and a girl, now you're done." but I just think our kids turned out so cute, the world needs a little bit more!
